Where you are
1-800-GAMBLER answers from every US state. Most states also run their own help line and their own self-exclusion programme, and those are administered by the state gaming regulator rather than by any operator or by this site.
The National Council on Problem Gambling directory lists them state by state and is kept current. We link to it rather than reprint numbers here, because a stale number on a page like this is worse than no number.
Self-exclusion
Self-exclusion bars you from an operator, or from every licensed operator in a state, for a period you choose. Sportsbooks run their own schemes and most states run a combined one. Both are free, and neither requires a reason.
Every licensed operator is also required to offer deposit, loss and time limits you can set yourself, and those take effect immediately.
Signs worth taking seriously
Betting more than you meant to. Chasing a loss with a bigger stake. Borrowing to bet, or hiding what you have staked from people close to you. Betting to change how you feel rather than because you wanted to. Any of these is a reason to call the number above, and none of them requires you to have decided you have a problem.
About this site
PriceMyBet is a price comparison. It is 21+ only, it does not take bets or hold money, and it does not tell anyone what to bet on. Showing that a bet costs 38¢ at one place and 41¢ at another is not an argument for making it.
